Single Valve Float Shoe is at the bottom of the casing,as a cementing tool that utilizes buoyancy to reduce the weight of casing,which is a single flow valve.
Single Valve Float Shoe is a type of guide shoe or coupling that can generate buoyancy. Due to their high temperature resistance, good sealing and drillability, and easy connection, floating shoes or hoops can replace guiding shoes, casing shoes, etc. Floating shoes or floating hoops can be used not only for general technical casing and oil reservoir casing, but also for deep wells, ultra deep wells, and special process wells.
The casing float shoe is mainly composed of five parts: baffle plate, float ball, shell, ball basket, and guide shoe;
The conical surface at the center hole of the baffle plate is matched with the floating ball to seal the fluid in reverse;
The ball basket is used to support the floating ball for circulating well cleaning, adjusting drilling fluid performance, and cementing operations. The floating ball is supported by the ball basket
The support and floating hoop are in a conductive state, allowing fluid to freely pass through;
After the completion of casing and cement injection operations, the floating hoop is subjected to reverse pressure, and the floating ball is matched with the sealing surface of the baffle to prevent fluid flow
Reverse flow serves as a reverse sealing function.
