The insulation joint shall be in the form of integral extrusion welding, and the bolt and flange connection type shall not be used. The insulating joint is in the form of clamping and fixing the insulating and sealing materials in the sleeve (assembly). After the insulation joint is assembled, the internal components shall be fixed at corresponding positions. The entire insulation joint shall remain intact under soil pressure, specified pipe operating pressure and hydrostatic test in the factory or on site. The sealing element of the insulating joint is close to the insulating plate inside the joint, which has elasticity, and the two sides of the sealing element directly contact with the bare metal surface and will not move, thus ensuring the tightness of the joint.
The MONOLITHIC ISOLATION JOINT is composed of the following parts: upper and lower pipes, sleeves, insulation parts, seals and insulation coating. An insulating part and a sealing part are clamped between the butt end faces of the upper and lower pipes of the insulating joint to form a double sealing structure with insulating performance. The sleeve adopts groove welding or direct welding with the upper pipe, and the insulating parts and upper and lower pipes are firmly wrapped inside to form a "sealed container", so as to achieve good insulation effect and greatly improve the pressure bearing capacity of the insulating structure.
Monolithic Insulation Joint is a boltless structure that provides electrical resistance between the pipeline sections and adjoining structures, thus improving the effectiveness of the Cathodic Protection System (CP systems).
