Plug valve (drain tubing) is a manual control valve for opening and closing the circulation system of the pipe column.Tubing Drain is manufactured by the API Mechanical tube AISI 4140 Mod,L80 or 13Cr material and with EUE thread connection or premium connection.
It is normally used for well repair operations to prevent blowouts and quickly close the liquid flowing inside the pipe column, achieving the purpose of safe production.
Structure:
A plug valve (tubing drain) consists of a housing, upper and lower valve seats, a sphere, a rotary switch, a sealing ring, a spring, and a pressure cap.
By rotating the hexagonal markings on the outer surface, it can open and close.
